1. JJ shares about the story of Joseph, which he often teaches at the end of the Every Man’s Battle Intensive. Despite jealousy, lies, abuse, slavery, false accusations, imprisonment, and famine, Joseph could say, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20).
2. I’m struggling with acceptance because shame comes over me. I’d like to move forward. How do you overcome that? I was always told I was a good kid and was a listener, but I never applied it to myself.
3. After hearing my neighbors’ dogs bark for 4 months straight, I called the police and animal control. I feel responsible that it led to an investigation to see if they were also neglecting their kids, and I feel targeted by other neighbors.
4. My wife died 4 months ago and I met a widow in a grief group who recently lost her husband. What should my next step be? I know it’s too early for me to start another relationship.
5. I’ve lost all faith and trust in Christianity. I was an altar boy in the oldest church in America, but it was all in Latin. I’m very discouraged to hear that there are other religions that have very similar stories as Christianity.
