لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
(33:21)
Too often, we quote this verse as a general statement: the Prophet ﷺ is our role model. But the Quran makes a distinction—he is a model specifically for those who place their hopes in Allah, the Last Day and remember Allah often.
This khutbah explores why that qualification matters, what it says about our inner state, and how to avoid the trap of claiming loyalty while living in contradiction to the Prophet’s legacy.
It’s not just about imitating outward actions. The Prophet ﷺ is a structural pillar—uswa—for truth and justice. Are those the causes your life is built on?
