Citizen Kane (1941)

He also co-wrote the screenplay with Herman J. Mankiewicz. The picture was Welles' first feature film. Citizen Kane is frequently cited as the greatest film ever made. The film is about a reporter that is assigned to decipher newspaper magnate Charles Foster Kane's (Orson Welles) dying words, and his investigation gradually reveals the fascinating portrait of a complex man who rose from obscurity to staggering heights.
