The Man in the White Suit (1952)

This week on the OETA Movie Club Podcast we discuss The Man in the White Suit (1952). Chemist Sidney Stratton (Alec Guinness) is at an intersection in his career. He has been trying to invent a specific clothing fiber. Eventually, Sidney creates a white suit that is impenetrable to the elements. At first he is celebrated as a hero. However, the clothing manufacturers soon realize that the perfect suit is terrible for business.
