Pivoting

On this very middle-aged episode of One and Done TV, Ian and John have several midlife crises and a surprising amount of laughs with the 2022 Fox comedy Pivoting! Amy, Jodie, and Sarah (Eliza Coupe, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Maggie Q, respectively) are three friends who have a change of heart after their mutual friend suddenly dies and collectively decide to pivot their lives in order to seek true happiness. Ian admits to having watched the movie Like Father starring Kelsey Grammar. John goes Below Deck (as he is wont to do) and scratches his reality yacht drama itch! The guys discuss how grief is portrayed in television, they don’t have to bleep any bleeps, and don’t see eye to eye on Coupling (the British version, naturally). Plus, bury John’s feed with #GenericJohn!
