My friend and co-host Kardia Joi turns the microphone around and asks me about my own story—where I came from, what I survived, and what healing has looked like along the way.

In this conversation, I share parts of my story that I haven’t talked about publicly before. We get into some of the harder particulars, but we also talk about what it has meant to find my voice, wrestle with what happened, heal, and discover a life that is so much bigger than my past.

There is something different about sitting in the survivor’s chair rather than the interviewer’s chair.
