When there's conflict in the family, a lot of teens find it's easier to just shut down and stop engaging entirely — unfortunately, that often makes things worse. In today's show, Mark and Courtney, a Heartlight counselor, talk with two Heartlight teens who are working on repairing their relationships with their parents. One young lady opens up about grappling with her adoption and the complexities of feeling different and distanced from her family.
