He also just happens to be a hugely successful comedy writer and screenwriter for some of the most outstanding TV and Radio series over the past 30 years with credits for shows such as On the Hour, The Day Today, The Thick of It, Blue Jam, Harry Hill's TV Burp, Veep (for which he won an Emmy in 2015) and Avenue 5.
