Peak Hour: Drop It! Tech House & Techno (2018)

This Peak Hour mix from 2018 delivers a darker, club-ready selection of Tech House and Techno to get you through a mid-week set. Party Favorz leans back toward the earlier Deep Edition vibe, starting with a Shadow Child take on the early-90s rave classic “DJ’s Take Control” before pushing into tougher grooves designed to build and break with purpose. Highlights include cuts from Green Velvet & Chris Lake, a driving moment from Dusky, and peak-time energy from Illyus & Barrientos and Shiba San & Tim Baresko. The mix also threads in a CamelPhat remix of Paul Woolford and a handful of heavy edits made to tighten transitions and keep momentum high. At roughly 96 minutes, Drop It! is assembled with careful pacing—warmer beginnings, a boiling peak, and a cooled finish—meant for listeners who favour textured underground selections and precise DJ craft.
