Peak Hour Tech House & Progressive House 2019: Change The Situation

This 2019 Peak Hour mix leans into underground tech house, breaks, drum & bass, electro and progressive house with an intentionally immersive, two-hour rollercoaster ride. Party Favorz builds tension with big drops, slow climbs and abrupt turns rather than a relaxed chill session, so expect intensity balanced by brief respites. The set opens with Robbie Rivera’s remix of Dave Winnel’s “Smoke Machine” as a tease and saves Eli Brown’s title cut “Change The Situation” for a later, climactic moment. Highlights include club-ready turns from Patrick Topping and Mark Knight, a moody Reinier Zonneveld moment, and CamelPhat’s rework of Dirty Vegas placed among peak-hour heat. The mix pushes through bass house and breaks as readily as tech house, showcasing crowd-pleasing edits alongside deeper underground selections. The cover uses “Resist” imagery — a nod to global protests and the underground’s role as a voice for change — while the set keeps the focus squarely on the music and the journey.
