Tech House Peak Hour: Dopamine (2018) Funky House Mix

This is a 2018 Peak Hour mix of tech and funky house crafted for peak-floor play. Dopamine was assembled from deep digging beyond the usual Beatport/Traxsource charts to find dubby alternates and underground edits that hold energy and keep the floor moving. The set leans toward a funkier, groove-first direction with noticeable Latin-house flourishes tied to the recent revival of Pete Rodriguez’s “I Like It Like That.” Highlights include CamelPhat & Ali Love’s “Dopamine Machine,” a Mousse T. re-rub of Dennis Ferrer’s “Hey Hey,” Peggy Gou’s Acid Journey remix of Shakedown’s “At Night,” plus peak-ready turns from Dom Dolla, Melé & Shovel’s “Pasilda,” and Junior Jack x Tube & Berger’s “E Samba 2018.” The mix is intentionally trimmed for flow — fewer detours, more consistent vibe — and will sit comfortably alongside Party Favorz underground sets like Sweat On the Dancefloor and Push the Tempo. Enjoy the groove.
