Upon completion of this accredited CE activity, participants should be better able to: Identify the clinical signs of AML, relevant prognostic factors, and patient- or disease-related features that influence treatment selection, Discuss efficacy and safety evidence surrounding novel cytotoxic, targeted, and epigenetic therapies for AML, Develop educational strategies for patients with AML related to therapeutic expectations, adherence, safety considerations, sequential treatments, and differences among novel agent classes, Manage dosing and safety considerations for patients with AML receiving novel cytotoxic, targeted, and epigenetic therapies.
