His practice brought him to Penland School of Crafts where he attended workshops before being awarded a place in the Core Fellowship Program. During the two-year fellowship, he developed a line of jewelry that focused on non-traditional etching techniques and surface design revolving around his work as a two dimensional artist. His metalwork varies from collections of jewelry to singular, stand out studio pieces. The unique studio work embraces his diverse disciplines outside of metals including drawing, painting, and photography.
