Many of us as photographers have certain genres where we tend to spend a lot of our time; certain subjects that we’re more passionate about shooting. That’s a good thing because the more we shoot those subjects we’re most passionate about, the more we refine our process and develop are skill set in that arena.
However, if all we ever shoot is that main focus of our photography, it does bring up the potential to start to become bored. Sometimes it might be a good idea to shoot something completely outside of your wheelhouse, really mix it up a bit. Enjoy.
The PhotosHere are a few shots I got from that outing. My favorite shots from the day were actually more of my friend Garrett, behind the scenes; maybe stuff he can use for something.
I shot a roll of 35mm film with my Leica M6 and a roll of 120 with the Mamiya RB67. Fun stuff.
