The Question God Is Still Asking | Preston Morrison

In this message, “Do You Even Know Where You Are?”, we explore one of the most important—and often overlooked—questions God asks His people.

The first question God asked humanity wasn’t about what Adam had done. It was about where Adam was.

“Where are you?”

Before God leads us forward, He often confronts us with our current reality. Because if we don’t know where we are spiritually, emotionally, or relationally, we can easily drift into places God never intended for us to be.

In this sermon, you'll hear about:

• Why God's first question to Adam still matters today

• How a lack of self-awareness creates trouble wherever we go

• The danger of being spiritually blind to our true condition

• Why knowing yourself helps you fulfill God's purpose more effectively

• How biblical self-awareness differs from simple self-assessment

Drawing from Genesis 3, Revelation 3, 1 Kings 19, and Psalm 139, this message challenges us to stop avoiding honest reflection and start inviting God to search our hearts.

Because the greatest obstacle to growth is often not what we don't know about God—

it's what we don't know about ourselves.

True transformation begins when we stop pretending, stop comparing, and allow God to reveal what's really happening beneath the surface.

The question isn't where you want to be.

The question is:

Do you even know where you are?
