Man Utd at the 2000 Club World Championship | #ThrowbackThursday | Planet #FPL
Om avsnittet
20 Years ago under pressure from the Government and the Football Association Treble Winners Manchester United gave up the opportunity to defend their title as FA Cup Winners & instead compete in the first FIFA Club World Championship in Brazil.
Their tournament was a political & sporting disaster, but back in England the rest of the Premier League couldn't take advantage. Suj & James discuss this, what happened in the FA Cup without United & if a Club World Cup could ever return.
