Lower Decks Review: “Envoys” (1.02)

The newest Star Trek animated series continues! Boimler and Mariner escort a Klingon general to diplomatic negotiations. However, when the general gets drunk and steals the shuttlecraft, Boimler’s confidence is shaken to the core. Meanwhile, in an effort to free up time to spend with Tendi, Rutherford explores a drastic career change.

In this review episode, Dan and Bruce discuss what worked about the episode, what didn’t, what we felt was the message of the story, and go over a few of the easter eggs we found.
