Welcome to the Saturday Examen. Take some time to rest in the presence of God. Recall what has happened to you in the course of the week. Don’t feel you have to strain to remember everything… Just allow what you naturally remember to rise to the surface. Is there anything that stands out? Bring it into conversation with God. Is there anyone for whom you would like to give thanks to God? Take some time to do so now. This week has been the beginning of Lent. On Ash Wednesday we heard words from the Prophet Joel: 'return to me with all your heart'. How do these words speak to you now? Let yourself dwell on whatever seems important, eventually bringing that into conversation with Jesus. Looking ahead, what seems to be important for the days to come? Is there anything you would like to ask for as the new week begins? You have given all to me To you, Lord, I return it Everything is Yours Do with it what You will Give me only Your love and Your grace That is enough for me Amen
