Missing Florida Woman Found Murdered in Georgia Landfill

A 65-year-old Florida woman seemingly disappeared from her Fleming Island home mid-renovation. Following a massive search effort involving the FBI and local law enforcement, her remains were discovered nearly three months later in the Chesser Island Road Landfill in Folkston, Georgia. Investigators determined that a suspect killed Mauldin and disposed of her body in a waste transfer facility.
