Episode 23. HEAVY

We listen in on the bands who played louder and harder than standard pop bands. These were the early instigators of what would be termed as Hard Rock or "Heavy Metal". These bands played with more power and volume to punctuate their impact on audiences that were ready for something more exciting and more 'Street level' than the softer sounds of pop music being heard on A.M. radio. These were the first rumblings of heavy metal thunder.
