Pensacon 2014: From Pulps to Comics

This panel discussion, titled “From Pulps to Comics,” was recorded on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Pensacon, in Pensacola, Fla. The panel was moderated by Jeffrey Shanks, an archaeologist and anthropologist, and an expert in the field of weird fiction in the pulps. He was joined by Nicky Wheeler Nicholson, the granddaughter of Major Malcolm Wheeler Nicholson, a pulp fictioneer and founder of DC Comics, and by David Earle, a professor of literature at the University of West Florida.
