Itâs tempting to distract ourselves when we feel resistance, anxiety, fear or anger. Sometimes we try to fight it or push it away. But the secret to letting go and becoming free of the suffering caused by negative emotions is to face them openly - to allow them to be, without fear, to embrace them, to continue to breathe fully and look them in the eye, telling them, with a smile: âI see you, and I love you.â
