"Hi Simon thanks for contacting me. I'm a huge fan of David and Glenn. They were my entry point to Purple. December 3 1976 I bought Made In Europe. I heard Burn and was hooked. The following day December 4 (The day Tommy Bolin died) I bought every Purple album. The first that I played was Come Taste The Band. It should have been huge. Drugs killed any chance of a follow-up. I've worked with addicts since 1991. I've got a show planned around Glenn's 1980's work. It's mind boggling how he managed to do those fabulous 80's recordings in the condition that he was in. David should have been huge long before he was. I saw Glenn here in Australia in 2016 or 17 doing his Purple show, he was amazing!!! Thanks again and keep in touch."
