Sura 6 Livestock/ Alanaam.

This Makkah sura has 165 verses. It starts with gratitude to God who created the heavens and earth and who created darkness and light. The theme of darkness and light is throughout the sura. What a powerful sura. It repeats the oneness of God, and gives examples of His creation, His power, His knowledge. Verse 162 is a verse I live by as an affirmation ( My prayers and devotions , my living and my dying are all for God, Lord of all the worlds.). May God guide us to live the best life and reward us the best rewards. Ameen
