Rebbi Elimelech of Lizhensk's Tzetel Katan opens up the mysterious kitchen doors of the tzadikim, and enlightens us about how they eat. While they eat food like us, we quickly learn that their way of eating is far from being like us. This daily act can be much more than we make it and will require a couple of lectures to discuss the process.

To start, we will learn about the mindset and preparation before eating. If you're reminded of Yom Kippur during the lecture, then you're paying attention. Like many things we learn about tzadikim, this may not be the lecture you'll be able to follow through with tomorrow, but it will teach us a little more about where we stand, and that is one of the necessities of acquiring wisdom.
