Karen had spent two summers working at a remote camp in the Michigan woods and thought she knew exactly how ghost stories started.

So when several campers became obsessed with an old Ouija board and began reporting strange experiences in their cabin, she wasn't concerned. Some claimed their bunks shook during the night. Others swore they saw a woman moving between the beds. Karen chalked it up to imagination, exhaustion, and a little too much talk about spirits before bedtime.
