Avs Kick Off Conference Finals Without Makar

Nick Kypreos, Justin Bourne and Sam McKee start with the news that Cale Makar will be out for the Avalanche in Game 1 against the Golden Knights. Then, they listen to Vegas GM Kelly McCrimmon's comments on John Tortorella skipping his post-game media availability. Afterwards, Avs analyst and former NHLer John-Michael Liles joins the guys (12:46) to discuss the weight of Makar's absence, Gabriel Landeskog's impact, and Scott Wedgewood's series outlook. Finally, Nick, Justin, and Sam get into Justin's recently published article about how NHL coaching tenures are trending down, Mike Babcock emerging in the Oilers' coaching search, and the Canucks narrowing in on promoting Manny Malhotra to their NHL bench.
