In this episode, I am joined by Tamra Lucid, musician, riot girl, documentary producer and author of the recently published Making the Ordinary Extraordinary: My Seven Years in Occult Los Angeles with Many Palmer Hall. Along with talking about her experience with Manly Palmer Hall, Tamra discusses his wife Marie, who was a mystic and philosopher in her own right who had developed a map of consciousness, Tamra talks about the value of dusty old books, the importance of wisdom over smarts, and music as a metaphysical experiment. We also take a moment to reminisce about the dearly departed Bodhi Tree Bookstore in West Los Angles.
