In the early morning hours of Nov. 13, 1974, Ronald (Butch) DeFeo Jr. murdered his entire family.  The horrific murders of 6 family members as they slept in their Dutch Colonial home at 112 Ocean Avenue would go on to spark a horror movie franchise that would continue to deliver nightmares for decades.
