Bill and Beverly Jay were on their way to spend New Year's Eve with their 3 children when they stopped at a roadside rest area to take a break from the long drive. A fateful stop that would forever change the course of their lives. This tragic night in 1964 would live on as the New Year's Eve Nightmare of Jefferson County, NY.  The night The Egans met their match.
