Shadows of the Pale is our house written Season 4 OSRIC mini(?) campaign where we play the amazing third edition of the OSRIC rule set. (retroclone of the first advanced edition of the worlds most well known role playing game, available through Mythmere games, or free pdf from DrivethruRPG)  This story is set in the fabled World of Greyhawk fantasy setting, on the border between the Duchy of Tenh and the Theocracy of the Pale; and features wilderness exploration, a tense political backdrop, and the creeping long arm of the ominous Empire of Iuz...

Featuring:

Bryan (AKA Doc) as Reyes Monin, fighter, displaced noble, straight ahead action enthusiast, likes being big, seeker of treasure and XP.

Rodney as Pindar, Fighter/mage, pureblooded half-elf, second rank spear wielder, deviser of many plans, knower of moon phases.

Shawn M as Merrick Thornleaf,  Fighter/thief, Halfling, scout, Agent provocateur against The Pale, devils advocate, roller of ones.

John A as Theron,  Elven Mage,  mule owner, onetime seeker of Gelatinous Groundhogs, puts a big C on his CG alignment.

Eric as Edric,  Human Cleric.  either does not know or will not disclose his favored diety, reluctant yet ineffective healer, often the first into the fray.

Shawn G as GM, deviser of plots that might be deadly if he rolled better in combat, awkward NPC portrayer.  Edits and produces whatever this is.
