This week, we talked to film director Jack Perez (Some Guy Who Kills People, La Cucaracha), who picked Ralph Bakshi’s intense animated music-stuffed drama ‘American Pop’ to discuss. Jack also discusses working with cult icons Barry Boswich (Rocky Horror Picture Show) & Karen Black (Nashville, Five Easy Pieces), how this film affected him as a 15-year-old moviegoer, how this might be the most ambitious music film of all time & what songs just…well…suck in it.
