This week on the Rockonteurs podcast, we welcome an artist who continues to enjoy a career that spans 5 decades. Founder of The Zombies and Argent, it’s Rod Argent. 

Rod met his fellow Zombies at school and shares tales of their musical coming together as he went from the bands intended lead singer to keyboardist with former Rockonteur Colin Blunstone leading on vocals. 

Unforgettable hits such as 'She’s No There’ and ‘Time of the Season’ remain some of the all-time classics and have enjoyed a recent resurgence in popularity through streaming and TikTok and covers. Rod is taking a break from touring for the time being but took some time out to chat to us.
