Charley Crockett On What's Really Outlaw

Nashville Now is back, and this week we dive into the online feud between Gavin Adcock – our guest from last week – and Charley Crockett, who joins us on the pod this week. After Crockett shared his thoughts on authenticity in country music, Adcock fired back, calling him a “cosplay cowboy.” The two have been trading barbs for more than a week, and on this week’s episode Crockett shares more of his take on what constitutes country music, disputing the notion that “outlaw country” is a subgenre of today’s country.
