r/AmITheA**hole OP's wife is about nine months pregnant and is ready to give birth at any moment. OP has been understandably stressed about it, so he decides to go hang out with his friends for an evening. One of his friends is salty because OP missed his birthday party, so he decides to prank OP by hiding is cell phone for the night. Unfortunately, this happened to be the exact day that OP's wife gave birth, so he didn't catch the phone call and missed the birth of his son.
