Bitcoin Falls to Lowest Levels Since 2024, But No ‘Crypto Winter’ Ahead

Nic Roberts-Huntley calls this market “the most unenjoyable environment” since October 2025, driven by uncertainty from “lots of different angles.” Across the board, the narrative is “wait and see,” drying up flows and creating bigger risk of a downturn. On Bitcoin, he doesn’t think it’s a crypto winter, but that people are beginning to use the product differently. “We proved last year that it is an asset class of significant size,” he says, arguing that it isn’t going anywhere, but is moving from a retail asset to a traditional asset.
