Brace for "Weird" FOMC Meeting: Rate Projections & Voting Board in Question

Charles Schwab's Cooper Howard is expecting a "weird" FOMC meeting next week. Debates of a 25bps or a 50bps interest rate cut aside, he notes that we "won't even know who's going to be in the room" when the Fed ultimately votes on the tentative rate cut. With expected dot plot revisions, Cooper also urges investors to watch how the Fed is projecting interest rate cuts into 2026.
