Brenner: Fed Needs to Cut as Market Sells Off on Trade War

“The bears are overwhelming the bulls right now,” says Andrew Brenner as markets sell off, “You’re getting a real flight to quality, and it’s a problem.” He is also looking ahead to Powell’s speech on Friday, as well as any sign that Trump will ease on tariffs. He thinks the Fed needs to cut rates, but doesn’t expect them to start until May at the earliest.
