Ca$htag$: Chipotle (CMG) Has Low Bar Ahead of Earnings

Likefolio’s Landon Swan thinks Chipotle (CMG) has a low bar to clear for its earnings this quarter. They’ve blamed some of their struggles on the lower-end consumer eating out less, but Landon thinks consumers may have just switched to other brands. He cites price, portion sizes, and the perception of value at issue for CMG. Overall, he says Chipotle is “getting it wrong right now,” but is neither bullish nor bearish.
