CAVA Beats Earnings, Valuation Weighs on Stock

Cava (CAVA) beat on top and bottom lines in its latest earnings report, with revenue up 28% year-over-year. Same-store sales growth clocked in at 10.8% and as George Tsilis explains the report was solid overall. However, higher valuation may be the culprit behind the stock's after-hours slide. CAVA is trading at 180x this year's earnings, which could be why investors are taking a step back on the fast casual restaurant chain.
