Coons: TGT & BBY Both Have Low Bars Before Earnings – But Only Bullish on One - Schwab Network

Adam Coons previews Target (TGT) ahead of earnings and comments on whether the company will be successful in its turnaround attempts. He thinks tariffs and recapturing their customers are proving “very, very difficult” as they compete with names like Costco (COST) or Amazon (AMZN) along with higher-end brands. On the other hand, he’s bullish on Best Buy (BBY) ahead of new electronic product releases and a very low bar. Tom White offers an example options trade on TGT.
