Deere (DE) ‘The Player’ in Farming Automation & AI

Jonathan Sakraida says the challenge for Deere (DE) is their cut to guidance, since the market expected stronger cyclical performance. He also notes that interest rates hit Deere because a lot of its equipment purchases are financed, meaning farmers have less ability to buy. He considers Deere “the player” in AI and automation technology in the sector. “Once markets do recover, we think Deere is going to lead in that recovery.”
