Ed Siddell: Gold Can Hit $5K Next Year + Stock Picks

“We’re not concerned at all” about the government shutdown, Ed Siddell says. “Short term, there’s going to be a little bit of pain, but long term it will benefit the economy.” He discusses how the Fed’s reliance on BLS data may “put everything on hold” for rate cuts. He is bullish on gold and thinks it can hit as high as $5K next year. His stock picks right now include API Group (APG), Lowe’s (LOW) and the SPDR Gold Shares ETF (GLD).
