Flickinger: TGT "Unsustainable" By Itself, Merger to Drive "Rudderless Retail"

Burt Flickinger argues that Target (TGT) remains attractive because it's "so undervalued" but says he still wouldn't buy the stock. He points to the company's management team as a key issue, along with Target's distribution system. One positive Burt notes is Target's philanthropy and security compared to other retail giants like Walmart (WMT), though he believes it needs a buyer to truly rebound. Tom White offers example options trades for Target and Walmart.
