FOMC July Minutes Reaction: What Does the Jobs Data Change?

Dustin Reid and Andrew Wells weigh the FOMC July minutes. Dustin calls them “a little stale” because of the major shift in sentiment from the jobs data. He says that if “they had the data already” they probably would have cut rates in July and is “pretty constructive” on a cut in September. Andrew lists the criteria he thinks the Fed will be using to make their rate decision but says predicting their move will be difficult.
