GOOGL CapEx, Chinese Competition Add Attention to Cloud & ROI in Earnings

"All eyes are clearly going to be on cloud revenue as well as CapEx numbers," says Angelo Zino as he discusses expectations for Alphabet (GOOGL) earnings. He notes a very high bar for the stock with Wall Street eyeing 20% growth. With China releasing cheaper AI models compared to U.S. counterparts, Angelo believes regulation will come into play. It also puts a greater emphasis on the Mag 7 giant's ROI.
