GOOGL ‘Resilient’ Despite AI Competition, TSLA ‘Road Map’ Coming from Musk?

Ben Sullivan reacts to Alphabet (GOOGL) earnings. He notes that capex is expected to rise for Google but thinks that will translate to strength down the road. “They’re resilient, they have a plan” for things like AI and Search, he adds, “They have a wide moat that will allow them to stay competitive.” On Tesla (TSLA), he describes the “roller coaster ride” of the stock and how the company is trying to reassure investors. He expects a “tangible road map” from Elon Musk on the earnings call.
