Hamrick: Jobs Report Shows Steady Market, No Impact from Federal Cuts

Mark Hamrick covers the weekly Jobless Claims report, which came in above estimates. He says the report shows a steady market and doesn’t see any impacts from federal job cuts so far. “I’ll be very curious to see” what the summary of economic projections is after the Fed’s next meeting, he adds. While he expects their outlook to be bullish overall, he acknowledges that political uncertainty is making many hesitant.
