INTC Turnaround "Won't Be Easy," CHIPS Act in Balance

New Intel (INTC) CEO Lip-Bu Tan shared cautious optimism for the company's outlook. At the Intel Vision conference in Las Vegas on Monday, Tan admitted that "we need to improve... and we will." Caroline Woods notes this isn't the only factor pinning pressure on the stock today. She points to a Bloomberg report that says the Commerce Secretary will block CHIPS Act awards if companies don't expand U.S. presence. Tim Biggam offers an example options trade in the legacy chip company.
