Macro Headwinds Hit Employers, Hiring "Can't Get Much Weaker"

Morningstar's Preston Caldwell considers the latest JOLTS figure uneventful, citing lagging data and signs of balance through February. He sees a "healthy jobs market" heading into Friday's employment data. Michael Green doesn't agree, pointing to a layoff surge and weaker hiring numbers as warning signs.
